Trojan Clanger.s

[dsmdsm]

Bit defender is picking up a trojan on my PC. From the report i know it came from what turned out to be a fake e-mail purporting to be from ebay.

i have deleted it, but bit defender still finds it in my applications ?

You are running HijackThis directly from your Desktop; this is not the preferred location. Move HijackThis to C:\Program Files\HJT; run HijackThis from this location.

You have 2 Antivirus applications installed on your computer, never install more than 1. They create conflicts between each other and cause poor system performance. This could also be the source of BitDefenders reporting a Trojan.

The version of Java installed on your computer is way out-of-date, and represents a serious security risk. Update to version 1.5.0_07 available at http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp. Make sure you uninstall all older versions of Java.

Windows Messenger is running in the background, and represents a security risk. Disable Windows Messenger by running Shoot the Messenger.

Disable Spybot's "TeaTimer" function. It is a resource hog, and frankly isn't that effective.

Run HijackThis, click 'Do a system scan only' button, place a checkmark in the box next to the following lines:
