Hi
I'm not really sure if I do have a problem but I'd appreciate some input none the less. The other day I decided to defragment my harddrive. To avoid having the defragmenter restart due to file system changes by other programs I restarted in 'Diagnostic Mode' using 'msconfig'. Once the defrag was done I reverted to normal mode, *but* when restarting to make it take effect Windows says there is a program called 'Sample' which is not responding. Now I discover that this happens every time I try to restart when I'm in 'Diagnostic Mode', but never in 'Normal Mode'. I have run AVG Free edition and Panda Software's active scan but neither can find anything wrong. I have also tried AdAware, Spybot and CWShredder without finding anything. I can't even see that the program is running by using 'Itty Bitty Process Manager' (from merijn.org) while Windows is complaining that it can't shut 'Sample' down.
So what do you think?
I'd appreciate any help on this subject.
