I have a couple fo problems and need some advice
A few days ago My cpu got infected and I was able to clean most of it however I cannot resotre my active desktop although on load up my picture display but now I get a white screen I tried to go to properties but it won't allow me to change it or restore back to defaults. That's Problem 1

On startup Iget this message

c:\\windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS keeps coming up
in my windows defender as confiugrations changes it keeps cleaning it but uit comes back
what is this I dont know.
Problem # 3
I have cleaned and scanned my computer several times and performs sweeps however my browser itself seems to be infected still I can surf and not surf it takes miiutes for the page to load and sometimes i cant even use the internet yet my dsl lights and lines all test ok according to verizon my internet connection is sound. So they think it is in the browser.
Has this happened to anyone out there if so what is the best solution.
