i am new to this site, i hope you can help me.
i am trying to fix a computer for some relatives, where one the the 5-6 svchost.exe is using 100ish % cpu power for no reason it seems.
ive used process explorer to narrow it down to a thread called:
ntdll.dll!RtlallocateHeap+0x18c
the problem is, that i just dont know what to do with this info.
the system is running XP home with latest updates and norman security package including firewall and antivirus.
i should say, that this problem stops by itself after about 5 minutes.. but thats just not good enough :)
i have run a complete scan for virus, used windows defender, and spybot S&D. without any luck though.
finally i have a HJT log if you guys can make sense of that (i cant :) )
