Unzip HJT into it's own permanent folder before doing anything in order for it to create backups. (Not a temporary folder or directly on the desktop & not directly on your hard drive). Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

Please delete the entire contents of that temp folder first, then reboot.

Launch Notepad, and copy/paste the bold below into a new text file. Save it as URLRepair.reg (Change the 'Save As Type' to 'All Files'). Save it in C:\

Locate it (in C:\) and double-click on it (launch it). You'll recieve a prompt similar to: "Do you wish to merge the information into the registry?". Answer yes and wait for a message to appear similar to "Merged Successfully".

Reboot then post another log plz.

Thank you for your help I did as you said I put the hijack in its own folder then I fixed the 7 things you told me. Restarted in safe and erased the installer\id53.exe and system32\uwrhhn.exe but I wasn't sure about the temp folder contents do you want me to erase everything in the temp folder? I am reposting my hijack log also if you would be so kind I am getting a wjview error it says Error: unable to locate system class:java/lang/object Thanks again for your help Ryun

The only thing I would do now is uninstall Wild Tangent from add/remove, unless you need it for games. Still having problems??

There are no critical updates to install I think this problem arose from me trying to erase the version of java that i had and installing the sun version. This problem doesnt bother me like the other stuff so Its not that big of deal But I want to thank you for all of your help
