Hi,
I am constantly getting popups from my Norton antivirus that I have a downloader virus and other messages that a virus is trying to access the internet from my laptop.
I have done everything Norton advices to do...update, turn off system restore, reboot in safe mode and run Norton. It finds nothing! And when I delete the files it finds in normal mode it doesnt remove the virus.
Im at a loss here...please help if u can.

What you could try, is to download the free version of AVG anti-virus, run their scan to see if you get anything, if AVG won't find it not much else will!

Download the free version, install it and run their system scan.
Otherwise you could try reinstalling norton and seing if the popup continues.
