Hi, I downloaded a calendar software for the Mac with a ".dmg" extension. It will not open. The Mac OS-X keeps asking for an application to open the file with. It should open by itself, I believe. Any suggestions?Thanks Manny

It should open by itself. What opens it depends on which version of OS X you have.

So, if you haven't resolved the problem, when it asks for what application to use, find DiskImageMounter, choose that, and then choose "Always open with this application".

If it's not listed in the list of choices you can find it located in /System/Library/CoreServices/DiskImageMounter You can also try dragging and dropping the .dmg file on the application.
