I need to know if there is a tool that will allow restoration of the Default domain level group policy container. Or the procedure to complete the task. The tab is currently not allocated to the properties dialog. Help with this would be very much appreciated...

Off the top of my head I am not sure if there is a tool to restore the GP container, but there is a Windows SysInternals utility called "AdRestore" that might be a starting point.
