When I try to login to my computer I get to the welcome screen and then I click to log in on my username. It acts like it is going to login but then it logs me out. What is wrong and how do I fix?

run the xp cd and make sure that when asked you say to restore. Only do this if someone else cant help you. Try booting into safe mode or last know good configuration.
