Hi there,

I'm currently working on a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel 2007, and need to enter a few paragraphs of text within a group of merged cells.

I would like to have seperate lines of text (as I have just started a new paragraph within this post) but when I press "enter" it simply takes me to the cell below.

Does anyone know how you can overcome this? I know you are able to do this as i've done it before somehow!

Go into Format/Cells/Alignment and check Wrap Text.

To force a new line, use Alt+Enter.

Another way is to create a text box in Word, and then paste it as an object in Excel.
