Every time I run a registry cleaner I get a number of obsolete software items. "Search" does not show them and Regedit will not allow me to delete the entries. Although they don't seem to be doing anything bad I am tired of seeing them, deleting them from the Registry only to see them back next time. How can I get rid of them?

"Search" as it is in Regedit is not a full disclosure search. But if you navigate to the actual entries and cannot delete them manually, rclick the key, > properties and set permissions so that you have control.

Thank you very much, I gave myself permission and then deleted the items, they have disappeared from my Reg Edit scan.

Cool.
