I just bought a compaq laptop from Best Buy. When i open the computer properties, it says the processor is a 1.05ghz when the processor is a AMD xp 2200+ so it should run at a 1.8ghz . sometimes it does say 1.79ghz but mainly it says 1.05ghz
1. Why is that?
2. Should the processor speed switch like that?
