I just got an old used Dell from a thrift shop, the hard drive seems to boot fine but it has a login\password screen for windows by Novell. This is Windows 2000 Pro and i need to know if it is possable to boot to DOS so i can format and install Xp without a boot disk, and without entering windows as i cannot without the user\pass. my final hope if not is buying a ne hard disk.
