Every time my laptop boots up a windows scripting host pops up. It does not give any error though but it means some unwanted script is running. Also My Documents window opens up along with it

ok, go to start then press run (in xp and just type in search on vista) and type msconfig
that should bring up a nice box, with tabs, press the startup tab and it should have a bunch of stuff listed, disable any you dont want open.
then go to start all programs startup and see what is in there.
the only things you SHOULD need running are your antivirus programs, you can keep whatever you like though and DO NOT just click anything as this CAN cause serious problems, please use google or ask here first
