This is a Windows XP Pro SP3 question:
I have two DSL lines, one of which I use exclusively for VOIP (Vonage) and the other I use just for Internet Browsing and downloading.
I have a standby VOIP device called a magicJack that is a quasi softphone as it plugs into the USB port, loads software and makes calls directly as it has a RJ11 jack on the other end of the USB.
The question, is how do I use two tcpip connections on one computer? My laptop has a built-in wireless connection and an Ethernet port. I'd like to drive my normal IP through the wireless and attach a secondary wireless USB and use that only for the VOIP traffic.
Is it possible? Anytime I have ever enabled two connections one is always shut off while the other is left working or in a state of confusion.
Thanks,
