i need to connect my wireless internet to a ibm laptop.

my wireless connection is working but my local area connection says that the network cable is unplugged and i can't keep it from staying that way.

i need internet please help

Right-click on the cable unplugged icon in the system tray, select open network connections, right-click on your local area connection icon, and clear the checkbox that says notify me when this connection has little or no connectivity.
