When I select a sublink at several websites, and a new IE 6.0 window pops
up, the site seems legitimate, but the address bar does not display any
new address. Instead, it shows some corrupt display that looks like a garbled ghosted image of the rest of the IE toolbar. I cannot click on it to edit it,
but i can click on the hisory downbar and see previous sites. I am concerned that if i go to a sensitve site with the gold lock on bottom, i still do not know the address of that site. An example of this is applying for some bank account or card and it redirects to a new link which is secure, but shows the garbled address bar. I am using Win2k with norton running. Has anyone seen this behavior? Thanks.
