Hi Everyone,
I have installed VS 2005 on my laptop, the os is windows vista business edition but it is not working.
All I want to know is that can VS 2005 be installed and run successfully on vista or is there any other version of VS 2005 compatiable with the vista.
Please help as my lot of work is pending due to this....
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes but you need to install Vista SP1, then Visual Studio 2005 SP1, then check for windiows updates. Windows will find a fix to enable it to work.

remember to run VS as administrator. (right click it)
