How can i run chkdsk using the Dell drivers and Utilities CD

why need to use the dell drivers? chkdsk is part of windows..at command prompt type chkdsk/? for the list of switches that can be used ;)

You can't. Use Start/Run/cmd
At the prompt "chkdsk /r"
You'll have to reboot.

do as suggested by hughv..type that command at command prompt window but don't include the quotes.. :) Goodluck!
