How the Performance of Win 7 on Toshiba Laptops

I have 32 bit Vist Home Premium Os Toshiba Laptop- Satelite
Processor: 2.0 GHz Intel Centrino Core 2 DUO , RAM - 1 GB, HDD - 160 GB
System Rating 3.0. How Windows 7 will give the performance on this above configerated systems?. I have plan to go for change my OS from Vista to Win 7, anybody Please give me advise.
