It worked fine today on the mac but in the morning when i restarted the mac the internet just disconnect on the mac and when i looked at my router the ethernet shows only 1 dot which is for the xp desktop when it suppose to show 2 dots for the xp and the mac, and i have it wired to the mac. I'm using linksys router. Does anyone know how to fix this?

check to make sure cable is plugged in ,maybe try another cable
