I am installing windows 7 my hard disk is 250 GB can anybody suggest how much should be the participation for c drive....

google or msoft will give the minimum requirements. The obvious question is where and how many applications are you going to put on the hard disk. If on C: then you need to work out totals for all programs. If you are going to put applications and data on D: do remember that the paging file (or virtual computer if you use that will take up space as well. Windows likes to have space to itself for housekeeping.
