My windows xp is running fine with barely 3% usage if I am not running any heavy-weight process. But when I connect to internet my cpu usage shoots up to 100% with major chunk used by explorer and task manager.
My internet connection is basically optical fibre based and as soon as I switch on my media converter this thing happens (i.e. before even logging in).
is this software or hardware problem please help me
