I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum, but my question does relate to the internet.
I have a lot of spam, messages with all the gobbledegook in the subject line. How I handle this is going to the properties of the email in question, taking what numbers I find and loading them into the "Block Sender" field under tools. This is in IE6. Is there anyone else doing this, or does this appear to be an effective method of handling the problem.
Also, it has never been clear what the different numbers separated by dots represent, ie the last set the specific email address per chance? Where might I go for a better understanding of the server numbers?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, BuddyB
