I just purchased a Seagate 200gb hard drive. I am trying to install windows xp. I am receiving the following error message: kernel_data_inpage-error. It goes on to read: stop: 0x0000007A (0xe124f3f4,0xc000000e, 0xbf8ed7dd, 0x0c01d860 win32k.sys- address bf8ed7dd base at bf8000000, date stamp 3b7de698.

Does anyone know what this means? Please HELP :?:

So you have already installed the HD? Are the jumpers set to cable select? Does the HD register in my computer? If it registers can you explore it? Does the error cause windows to crash or your CPU to shut off?
