explorer.exe is an essential part of windows which let you use taskbar, start menu and multiple windows.

If you try to end it's process, all the display will be gone except wallpaper temporarily and will restarted in few seconds later. Sometimes you may even need to restart your computer to let it work back...

I think this is due to a Spyware Attack, So please scan your PC with a good Anti-Spyware Tool.
