Ok I have a problem, I have computer that i just formated the hard drive, becuase it keeps gettting vertical solid lines some times red, blue or yellow and computer frezzes up. I was wondering if anyone know what the problem is. I am think video card, but not sure just need some advice.

That sounds like a hardware issue, specifically the video card. I wouldn't say that's an issue with Windows XP, itself. Have you reseated the card, or swapped it with one you know that works?
