I have a game casper activity center. It runs on Windows 3.1/95, 486 DX 66 MHz, 16 MB RAM, 10 MB hard disk space, 2X CD-ROM, 640X480 256 color, 8-bit sound card.
It works for some people on windows XP, but not me. I right clicked and tried windows compatability did not work.
I faced this problem with another game what I found to work was going to the file on the cd and choosing the game that works on windows 3.1 and that worked even though it gives me an error of 256 colors.
But casper game will not budge when I try the 3.1 it gives me the error and will not play. I tried compatability no good.
The error message I had o both games was need atleast 3MB virtual memory (I have much more, but I have read its a common error, because the game can not get to the virtual memory on XP).
Please help!:-|
