Hi All,

Now I know this sounds like a simple thing to do: Open add and Remove programs select IIS and the system will guide you through. The problem comes when the system tries to copy the necessary files from the windows XP Pro CD. It comes up with the error “cant copy ‘certain DLL’ file”. I simply click the brows button and can see the file sitting in the correct directory to which the installation application is pointing. I have tried copying and pasting to another place but still it can’t seem to be able to copy the file. If I ignore that file the same things happens to the next file. I am running Windows XP Pro with service pack 2 and am obviously logged on as an Administrator.

Please could someone point me in the correct direction?

Could be that the CD is currpoted (scratched, etc.) My advice, is clean the CD and reburn it, then use the new reburned CD... OR contact MS and ask for a copy...
