today at work i reseived a supervisor escl. with an intresting one.
and im hoping someone may provide a solution to this one.
the issue is this. a hyperlink on a site the cu couldnt access.
the site is kroger.com the hyper link took her to info about her state/city that she lived in, she also has an ebay tool bar.
the previous agent had her configure a number of settings, but we fount out that allowed her access to they hyperlink, but the ebay tool bar was lost.
not knowing what the agent had her do, i did a system restore. that brought back her tool bar, but she no longer could access that link.
i had her go to internet options, advanced tab, and disable thirdparty browser extentions.
at that time she is now able to open that link, but no ebay tool bar. going back now, knowing more on what caused one issue but fixed the other. i had her now enable thirdparty browser extentions. it got the tool bar back, but we lost use of the security program. we did another restore to get that back working.
after some time, i had the cu go to the page, and right click the hyperlink, copy shortcut, and paste it into the address bar. that allowed her to access what she needed. she saved that item in my favorites..
but both of us, wonder now is there something better or another option, cause it shouldnt have to be so.
there was other things that caused her to be irate and request a supervisor. but im askin about the issue at hand, is there something that we can configure that will allow her to click hyperlinks that she desire. without having to copy paste and save items to my favorites....
