After a big virus scare, i loaded a copy of XP pro on a friends computer. Now the sound is not working, but yet the speakers pop and crackle on restart so i know they're working. Any idea of where i can get sound drivers for this? I've tried compaq's website and it seems to be of no help. I do not have the 'restore' discs either. was kind of a hand-me-down pc.
