Hi! everybody,
I have a laptop (Win. XP professional) and have faced with a problem. In turn off menu the stand by option is not active (in gray) while the Turn off and Restart options work OK. please help me to fix this problem.

Hello and Welcome to Daniweb !

You need to install the Display adapter drivers first to enable the Standby option. Install the appropriate driver for that device (May be you got the driver CD with your laptop) or if not then tell me your laptop model name i will give you a link here for exact drivers to download.
