Hi all,

I am looking to send an email asking someone for a specific response in their subject line. Upon recieving the response I want to be able to automatically have the subject line read and a query created for a MySQL database to update the database for this persons record.

Does anyone know of any software that can do this?

You need a mail parser. And there are many to choose from based on your Distro or language of choice. A qoogle search for 'email parser' + your distro will get you a list of results. STart with that.

I've seen windows based parsers also, but they are seldom opensource.

Thanks. I've found Email2DB. It looks like it does what I'm after so I'll give that a go.
