You might try searching ebay or something and try to find a replacement mobo for that specific computer. i think normal is right, i don't think they make a mobo that supports a new CPU and DDR 400.

you just need an adapter like one that normal posted. but a like he said, Most Mobo's will have at least one.

that is interesting. the exclamation mark either means that is doesn't have a driver installed or the hardware is bad. you said that in re-installed drivers so my guess is that your vid card is bad.

does it give you any error messages when shutting down or when booting back up? try starting it up in safe mode(press F8 while booting) then open a few windows. if it doesn't shut down then you have a virus

667 isn't backwards compatible to 533. you can get a 533 DIMM. my suggestion is take your computer so someone competent and tell them to upgrade it for you. any Tech who hasn't heard of double sided ram should not be working on a computer.

yea.... ummm... why do you want to overclock again? you say you don't want to overclock it much. but to be able to tell a difference in performance you would have to overclock it by alot. if you overclocked it from a 2.5 to like a 3.0 or a 3.2 …

at those temps it sounds ok... i would at least put an exhaust fan in though. i agree with willcomp. you need to draw the CPU exhaust away from the PSU. even with the exhaust funnel on the heat sync the hot air will still get sucked into the PSU.

I would suggest an 850W PSU. Water cooling is pretty much a waist of time and money. they do cool other things besides the cpu but you have to buy either a special component made for water cooling or a special adapter to fit each component. air cooling technology has …

honestly for that big of an operation i would suggest going to dell and having them build you a server. they are fairly cheap and will provide Great technical support(For large businesses). Plus that way there is a good warranty if anything breaks. and they will install it for you.

you can run a laptop off of a generator just fine. the only problem with doing so is that the current coming from a generator isn't consistent and over a period of time could damage hardware just from the power fluctuation. if you have a large battery backup most of …

1) quad is better 2)GeForce 9800 3) Yes. the 2nd/3rd hard drive will make for an easy dual boot system. A CPU can't make sounds. the Fan on the CPU can make some pretty annoying sounds. when you say Seagate do you mean your hard drive? to my knowledge Seagate doesn't make a CPU.

you may try uninstalling and re-installing the video drivers. then make sure that you resolution is set to the proper screen size and make sure the color pallet is set to 32bit and not 16bit.

when you formatted it you may have deleted the drivers that are installed on it from the factory. you might try downloading the original drivers from the manufacturers web site.
