well from my year of work experience is that the more you can communicate when being give a project the more you will get to start the project as what kind of specifications are wanted and what not. if you cant communcate well you will be give a very vague discriptions of what they want and it isnt that easy to figure out what is wanted of the program you are suppose to write for them. :) just my 2 cents :)
im not thinking you will find universal code for what you want to do. but good luck on your search i will keep an eye open for you :)
nah it doesnt eliminate the need for forums jst for answering the same questions over and over and over. and for answering questions that could have been found really easily with a quick google search ;)
could you possibly post the code you have so we can tell exactly what you need help with. that would make it easier to help up thanks :)
well if im understanding what you want all you would have to do is is use the formname.show to show the other form and a me.hide to hide the current forums. so kind of like this
Private Sub cmdbutton1()
form2.show
me.hide
End Sub
i dont know but i dont think this kid shouldn't give up his site for anything less then 100,000 dollars, jst because he isnt violating any copyright laws, i wouldn't think jst cause the name sounds like microsoft doesnt mean ppl are goin to get it mixed up. everyone in there right mind knows you spell it microsoft and not mikerowesoft its jst plain stupid that microsoft is that bad about every little thing. they jst need to quit worry about all this little stuff and focus on there software they are putting out so there software doesnt start goin thru the crapper :) and maybe trying to fight off linux and the Open source community which i dont think they will be able to do. but thats not what this thread is for talking so i will end it now :)
/end rant
i would stick with the free one you got. i have heard that if you start off with visual C++ you will get spoiled and not actually learn everything you need in C++. i am currently trying to learn C++ and im using gcc but im on linux as well. if i was using windows i would probably go with the Dev-C++ that you are using. but thats jst my 2cents :cheesy:
i dont know what is wrong with it. i have tryed it on both linux and windows versions of opera and i cant seem to logon everother site and forum i need to log onto works great thought maybe someone here would know whats goin on. i am on mozilla right now but i kind of like opera better so i figured i would see if anyone knew what could be up with it.
they have that same property for vb6 also, for those of us using vb6 still :(
