I want to get a book to learn more about upgrading and repairing computers, I`d like to get a few suggestions.

I don't know if there is an up-to-date book, but I would suggest to google for some new reviews and then google or wikiped the shortcuts of all abbreviations and not common used words. Also look on pictures for various connectors like USB, miniUSB, DVI and so on.

Anyway a nice book is a manual to any or all motherboards, plug-in device, LCDs and so on. There is quite often a lot of information about computer interface.

You can do a few tables in some documents and write there like for example for certain type of memories their pictures, pictures of connectors, interface...
