Hi All,

I'm a virgin to this site, so go gentle. :-)

I'm using vb.net to write a web application and I was just wandering what was better and what the advantages/disadvantages to using the self-imported SQL file within VB.net or the SQL Server Management to create a database and use that database in the web app?

I'm planning to have the prog hosted, so I wouldn't think there would be any problems with either, right???

Thanks. :-)

Self imported SQL File? What is your question exactly?

If you use vb.net, there is a method for a local database to be created. I've also seen methods for using SQL Server. If the database is a local database and I upload it to the web, does that include the database as well? Can this be done with SQL Server database???

Unfortunately I have no idea what you are talking about. Can you please point me to articles where you are reading this?
