Problem with Wamp Server

I cant log in to wamp server although i get in the phpmyadmin. When i try to open my project i get access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password yes)

Test if you have entered the correct credentials.
Goto the phpmyadmin folder and open this file: config.inc.php
Look for this variables:
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user'] = 'root';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password'] = 'admin';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['extension'] = 'mysqli';

Thanks Klaus. I did this before. The problem was (for future notice) the confurigation of the database on my project.
