after building the GUI using the java swing and awt ,how do i make the response of my mouse click pass the mesage accross from the client;s machine to the server machine?and where can i reaD more about it and also how do i get it to control and update the status of the GUI on the server machine?

Sounds like you need to send TCP/IP messages between the two machines using Sockets.
