I have been searching the net for information on backing up files to cd
from vb.net application cannot find anything any help appretiated.

SUMMARY: The NeroCOM object (type library) which comes as part of the API is indeed compatible with .NET. There is a C# example called Nero Fiddles included with the API. This will be the easiest way for you to access NERO through its API. The COM object also comes with full documentation which should help to get you started.
