Something that i'll probly need to know in the future or even soon.

What is the proper term of calling this | thing but blinking, when you type and it shows where you are typing.

And is there any java API or any java commands linked to this?

I might be very wrong, but according to what i have heard, i think it is called a cursor. Not sure about the java API though. Hope this helps

Its called a cursor, and java.awt.Cursor deals with it in graphics mode. I dont know what you intend to do with it.

Thanks a lot, i'll think it'll come in handy when i come to making user friendly additions to a program im making in class with my friends.
