okay..it is in image processing area..
let me give an example..
before this my friend was made an teeth patches detection system, where thru the system, user have to upload the teeth patches and the system will recognize the type of fish using the teeth that we upload.
i want to do something like that, but i dont know what to do. do you have any idea??
before this i've heard about circle detection and thumb nail detection. but i've no idea on how to do it..please help me..tq in advance..=)

Are you asking about "pattern recognition" in an image?
You are given an image and want to see if there is a sub image within that image that matches another image.
