That's simple
You must Compile your project first.
for example your Project is Project1
click Menu File >> Make "Project1.exe" >> Type the File name >> Choose Folder for saving (example My Documents) >> OK
see on Folder for saving (example My Documents)
surely there already exists Project1.exe

Generally the exe run without vb6. you didn't say what problem? when you made a exe it will run without vb6. if you follow as vb5prgrmr it's better.
