hello every body , i have just a little question , someone can tel me what the difference between array<Byte>^ and array<Byte>

thank you ,

dr dre say's " what's the difference betwwen me and you " ;)

Hello

array<Byte>^ is the correct syntax for a byte array in CLI/CLR.
Trying to use to use it without the tophat "^" will generate a complier error.
Syntax

array<Byte>^ b = gcnew array<Byte>(1000);

This tells the compiler to create a new array of a 1000 elements of the type "Byte".
The space is allocate on the Garbage Collecting heap.
"b" is the pointer to the array in memory.
Hope this helps you.

Milton

yeah that's helps thanks you for u r response
