Hai everybody. i am in trouble. As the part of my training programme i have to create a simple application in vb.net. i need to connect a local database to the application. I am a newcomer from a Govt. Polytechnic college located in South Kerala(INDIA). I haven't any experience with related using database in a vb.net progam. I think anybody can help me...

I want to know

1. How can i connect a database created in MS ACCESS with pgm code?
2. How can I read data from the table in the database & how can i compare those data with the selected data in a combobox? can you pls illustrate with code??????
Please help me.............
