Hello Developers,

Is their a c++ alternative to the windows shell 2.0 command "Get-AuthenticodeSignature", i really need some help making a DLL that can check if a authenticode signature exists before attempting to sign a file.

Kind Regards,
Nathaniel Blackburn

Did you look here?

Did you look here?

Thanks, i missed this one. I will be sure to read up on this as my knowedlege of c/c++ isn't too great so it might take some time to make a DLL from this.

Kind Regards,
Nathaniel Blackburn

Ok, my knowedge is very limited when it comes to c/c++ but i have made this

#include <windows.h>
#include <wincrypt.h>
#include <wintrust.h>
#include <stdio.h>
#include <tchar.h>

#pragma comment(lib, "crypt32.lib")

#define ENCODING (X509_ASN_ENCODING | PKCS_7_ASN_ENCODING)

#ifdef BUILD_DLL
#define EXPORT __declspec(dllexport)
#else
#define EXPORT __declspec(dllimport)
#endif

extern "C" // if using c++ rather than c
{
  EXPORT char __stdcall certinfo(char filename, char info);
}

EXPORT char certinfo ( char filename, char info ){

	if ( info == "program-name" ){
		return ProgPubInfo.lpszProgramName);
	}

	if ( info == "publisher-link" ){
		return ProgPubInfo.lpszPublisherLink);
	}

	if ( info == "more-info" ){
		return ProgPubInfo.lpszMoreInfoLink);
	}

	if ( info == "issuer" ) {
		return pCertContext->pCertInfo->Issuer;
	}

	if ( info == "serial-number" ) {
		return pCertContext->pCertInfo->SerialNumber;
	}

}

im just not sure what to include from the following to make that work correctly...

#include <windows.h>
#include <wincrypt.h>
#include <wintrust.h>
#include <stdio.h>
#include <tchar.h>
