Good evening to all. I was hoping that any one available, could assist me, with my assignment for matlab. I have never done any programming before, and require assistance with respect to designing a game(snakes and ladders).

That's what Daniweb is about, even I do not know matlab, it is likely that somebody will, just post your code and describe your problem in detail. Also be carefull to give impression of effort you have given to solve the problem yourself, then you are more likely to get sympathy in your problems.
I have quite some MATLAB experience, but you'll have to post specific questions as to where you are stuck, since no one will hold your hand and fix it for you, rather point you in the right direction.
