I want to create a file on a remote machine, and write to that file.
What are the ways of doing so.. I have searched, but couldn't get any thing
relevant...
if I give the ip address of the machine in the path of file., will it work??

Part of that depends on the OS on the remote machine and also the security settings.
If the remote server is running an FTP server, it would help.
Otherwise, you could attempt to set a location on the remote machine as a network drive and write to it like just another drive.
Did you want to write a server running on that remote machine, use windows file sharing, or use FTP? There's a few ways to go about doing this.
