im new to c++.ive done basic programs but got to do a project with graphics in it,..........ive no idea what graphics is......so pls suggest some basic stuff like how to enter some txt in a box and how to change background colour of a page..........

depends on the operating system and compiler you are using. There is no standard way to change background color because that is a function of operating system.
