how can i copy the parent background(DC) control to child control DC?

I think you need to make your question more explicit. For example, what is DC? Are you refering to a particular development environment?

Have you tried bitblt on the parent DC to the child DC yet?

yes.. or i receive the child control or a black rectangle(depending if the child control is visible or not)
